Themistoclean Wall in Divani Palace Acropolis Hotel: Built in 479CE, just after the Plataean battles. It was planned by Themistocles. Its purpose was to protect Athens from the Spartan attack. It was built in a hurry while Themistocles was trying to delay the Spartans. For material they even used stones and marbles from their graveyards.
